The team: ANIM humans

character who meditates

If you had to guess how many employees ANIM had...what would you answer? 3? 100? 1000?

The answer is four.

With four employees, a crazy board of directors, and a vast web of collaboration, ANIM is on fire.

  • Executive Director

An international marketer and entrepreneur, Clotilde's profile is not exactly typical and she believes this is a stroke of luck! Over the course of 20 years she has acquired financial and project management skills, championed her ideas to a variety of audiences in hyper-competitive environments, built strong networks with numerous partners, practiced innovative, user-oriented marketing and reinforced her appetite for getting stuff done.

  • Member Relations, Administration and Project Coordination

Was it chance, curiosity or luck? Here she is now working in the Francophone music industry. She loves learning, rising to new challenges, meeting new people, and she's most certainly on her A-game. At ANIM, she is a Jane-of-all-trades - accounting, admin, member relations, project coordinator. Have a question? Always feel free to get in touch with her.

  • Project Manager

Looking back over Julie's young career, it's easy to see that she has always been involved in local initiatives, promoting a DIY, combative and alternative spirit. It's only natural that she should follow this path into the French-speaking minority music industry, where projects, research and representation are her playground. Somewhere between a live music tripper and a bookworm wisely writing her master's thesis, Julie has a lot of fun at ANIM.

  • Digital coordinator

From an early age, Alexis has been captivated by the digital world. What might irritate you when a computer gets in the way, fascinates him to no end. He's constantly looking for online ways to make teamwork easier, using AI and other innovative technologies. He is ANIM's official technotherapist.

  • ANIM accounting

  • Artistic residency manager

Board of Directors

  • José Bertrand

    President SuperStar

Our very own super PR, our back-up crutch, all with a phenomenal network which he lovingly shares with us.

  • Natalie Aloessode-Bernardin

    Vice President

Wild about the weirdest subjects such as governance and the Mathuzalem Code (oh sorry: Morin Code), she is exceptionally well versed in politics and ethics

  • Thomas Kriner

    Secretary-Treasurer

An expert in all the latest musical practices, he sheds light on our most challenging questions

  • Jean Surette

    Board Members

The man who signs off on expenses and makes sure our budget is solid gold. We have a solid gold budget.

  • Leslie Cortés

    Board Members

Obvious sunshine and North-South link to the West. Integrated compass for a woman with a big heart.

  • Elma Bos

    Board Members

Elma comes to us from Sasckatchawan, where she co-directs the francophone association that nurtures talent like mushrooms in damp undergrowth... When you put it like that, it doesn't sound like much, but she is ...

  • Carol Doucet

    Board Members

A vibrant red-blooded Acadian woman (with yellow stars), she never stops and eats projects like one spreads organic Nutella on toast: with great delight

Annual elections

Each year at the AGM, several positions are up for election - three positions in years when the President is up for election, four in other years.

Our team is very small, so we rely on the Board to support us, to enlighten us and to participate in the essential decisions. We maintain a high level of trust, respect and mutual support.

We are all too white, too straight, too old and too neuro-typical. A bunch of privileged people who can't wait for a new generation of people to come along and take their place.
