    Proud Acadian, Annie Desjardins has been immersed in the of arts and culture universe since she was very young. Moderator, journalist, improviser, musician at times, she has multiple interests and her curiosity is insatiable. Her years at Radio-Canada may have erased some of her Acadian accent, but NEVER her desire to make her community shine. Annie is currently a doctoral student in communications.

    Mylène Després is a dynamic entrepreneur who is passionate about her community. Originally from Cocagne, New Brunswick, she is known for her superpowers of human connection and her ability to make people around her shine. Founder, owner and operator of La Station Workspace and La Station Créative, she strongly believes that a well connected community is a healthy community.

    Phanie lives and works in the Magdalen Islands. She is an artist, graphic designer and illustrator. Between two wind storms, she wanders the beaches of the archipelago. She loves the sound of the wind that makes houses quiver. She collects storms that rocks you to sleep at night. She draws her inspiration from the absurdity of everyday life. Her universe is composed of multicolored plants and wacky friends.

    By day, Marc LeBlanc may work as a mechanical engineer, but at night, when playing his music, he is better known as Marc à Paul à Jos. Originally from the Acadian region of Clare, Nova Scotia, Marc à Paul à Jos writes his music in his home town dialect. His songs tell true stories about real people he has known, with a folk style.

    Val has been freelancing for a while. Originally from the prairies, she found her joy in doing anything from slinging drinks for cowboys, to handywork, to cultural events. Often called uncle Val, she can fix pretty much anything. In her free time, she obsesses over beautiful words, and entertains her instagram followers with her cheesy tunes, her quirky news, and her how-to videos.
