LaFab Musique is a Canadian record label that aims and focuses on meeting the needs of Francophone artists in Ontario.
Based in Ottawa, LaFab Musique's mandate is to promote francophone music across the country; to encourage artists to develop their musical talent; and to support artists in the creation and production of their works, albums and music videos.

Bio: Born in Vanier, Ontario, Michel Bénac is a Franco-Ontarian singer-songwriter, known as the leader of the band LGS. In 1991, Michel founded Purple Hive Music Group / LaFab Music. Since 1999, LGS has released 6 albums and Michel has made a name for himself on the French-Canadian music scene. He was nominated for a 2009 JUNO's award and has received 13 Gold Trille awards. Prior to LGS, Michel was the frontman for Michael B and the Power, where he worked with his friend Gilles Godard in Nashville. In addition to music production, Michel hosted the television show RadArt for 3 seasons, Vendredi tout est permis on Radio-Canada and the radio show du retour on Unique FM. He served as vice-president of the APCM for 4 years, was a member of the ANIM board for 2 years and president of the St-Jean Festival in Ottawa. Michel currently serves as 1st Vice President on the Board of the Country Music Association of Ontario (CMAOntario).
