Bio: Carol Doucet is the owner of Le Grenier Musique, a music label and performance agency. She is originally from Balmoral, in northern New Brunswick, and lives in Moncton, in the southeast of the province. She is an avid traveler, photographer, river kayaker, musician and writer, and an avid consumer of art in all its forms.

After studying and teaching journalism, she opened a communications and press relations firm in 2001. With her team, she manages the communications of numerous cultural and social events and is the press agent for artists, events and cultural organizations.

In 2006, she added a show management and booking component to her business and works regularly in France, Switzerland and Belgium, as well as in the United States, to develop markets for Acadian artists.

In 2010, she developed the CRIA, a project she has cherished for a long time: the creation of an online resource center to help Acadian artists tour or promote themselves in Europe. The objectives are 1: to become a reference tool for Acadian artists wishing to make themselves known internationally and 2: to serve as a showcase for international presenters interested in hiring Acadian artists. CRIA then became Acadie-Export and was taken over by SPAASI.

In 2012, she launched the record label named after her company Le Grenier musique and has since produced some 40 albums by Acadian artists.

In 2018 she created ATIC to promote Acadian artists from the Maritimes. ATIC is an application for phones and tablets as well as a website, and its goal is to promote artists in music, while being a one-stop shop for information on the record (www.atic-musique.com).

In 2020, she is setting up an Acadia-Louisiana Gateway to facilitate the circulation of Acadian artists to Louisiana and vice versa.

For the past few years, Le Grenier musique has been producing shows and programming artists for various events.
