Les Productions Marie-Véronique Bourque is a bilingual company specializing in the production of shows, albums and videos. Founded by Canadian and international recording artist Marie-Véronique Bourque, the company showcases an often overlooked musical genre: jazz. The company is dedicated to promoting one of Canada's pioneers of the jazz flute, by presenting an original, mixed repertoire inspired by the artist's rich musical experiences.

Bio: Born in Quebec City and now based in Regina, I'm a jazz flutist and singer-songwriter. I like to get off the beaten track and create a universe that I describe as Métis jazz, where my original compositions blend with my interpretations of jazz standards.
In 2025, I had the honor of winning the NFA International Jazz Flute Big Band Competition. I was also a finalist in the Unsigned Only Awards Competition with Bruissements, and a semi-finalist in the same competition with Le train de la première heure, as well as in theInternational Music Competition 2024 with Là où les vagues sont d'or. My work has also been recognized with nominations for Trille Or 2023 and the Saskatchewan Music Awards (2018 and 2021).
I've had the chance to perform at major festivals such as the YYC International Jazz Days Festival, the Saskatchewan and Winnipeg International Jazz Festivals and Québec Jazz en Juin. I've also had the privilege of opening for Carol Welsman and Derrick Gardner.
In 2023, I took part in the Pro7ect international retreat at the legendary Rockfield Studios in Wales, where I recorded my Fantasy for Solo Flute on Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody, released on March 28.
Trained at the Conservatoire de musique de Québec, I won First Prizes in flute and chamber music before joining theRCMP Orchestra in 1992. After disbanding the ensemble, I pursued a career as a police officer for over 25 years, all the while keeping music as the common thread that drives my creativity.
